Electric generators are a device used on converting mechanical energy to electrical energy by electromagnetic means. An apparatus that transforms mechanical energy to electrical energy can also be called as an alternator, a dynamo or electric generators. The fundamental principle behind electric generators was discovered by Michael Faraday, a British scientist during 1820s and early 1830s.
In some lower level areas of the world, flooding is one of their big problems. Some houses with basements in this area usually experienced an instant swimming pool when there is a heavy rain. It is just okay if the water on their basement that turns into a pool is safe. But sad to say that it is a mixture of different liquids coming from anywhere. It is really a disaster for these people every time it rains. As an effect, man develops innovative machinery that can facilitate solving this problem. He develops the sump pumps.
A sump pumps is a device installed at the sump pit which is located at the lowest part of the basement. Sump pumps and sump pit always go together. There are already older versions of water pumps just like the Archimedes screw but since there are still rooms for innovations, mankind continues to invent, modify and innovate.
